Our Story

The Tag Aloha Ohana

Aloha! This is the Tag Aloha family, the creators of Tag Aloha. (from left to right: AJ, Manjari, Alana & Kainoa)

We started Tag Aloha in 2013 in our small town of Kailua, Hawai’i, with a dream of sharing the captivating culture and lifestyle of Hawai’i with the world. Since then, we’ve expanded to many retailers across the state, including our signature line of Whole Foods Hawai’i bags and accessories loved by visitors and kama’āina alike.

Living in beautiful Hawai’i provides a unique perspective on the care and stewardship of our planet. We're proud to be Hawaii's first Fairtrade Certified business, and to donate a portion of every product purchased to the Surfrider Foundation to protect our oceans and beaches and to AccesSurf, who builds an inclusive community that empowers people with disabilities through accessible beach and water programs. We believe that if we all keep doing just a little more, we can make a big impact, together! With this in mind, all of our bags, keychains, clutches, backpacks and beach bum bags are made from sustainably-sourced organic cotton that supports fair pay, real families, and the reduction of plastic in our environment.

We hope you love using our bags, pareos, hats and accessories as much as we love making them!

As part of our Ohana, we want to hear from you. Please drop us a line at sales@tagaloha.com or DM us on Instagram @tag_aloha. Mahalo!
