Common Ground sets the table for a regenerative future. “We host events and workshops that build connection and speak to the history, culture and traditions of place. This collection is a heartfelt homage to the rich tapestry of Kilauea’s history, from the days of Kilauea Sugar plantation, where Palaka was worn by the people who shaped our community, to our present day farm at Common Ground where we demonstrate innovative farming methods that mimic nature, showcasing the coexistence of canoe plants, native plants, and introduced crops.
The Common Ground collection embodies our vision of a regenerative future, setting the table for connection, collaboration, and respect for the land and its history. Join us in cultivating a brighter tomorrow, rooted in the lessons of the past.
A pareo, also known as a sarong, is a traditional wrap deeply rooted in Polynesian culture. It’s versatile as a bikini cover-up for beach days or styled for evenings out, offering a timeless look for any occasion. Our pareos are luxuriously soft, breathable, quick-drying, and designed to drape beautifully and flatters every body, making them a favorite for locals and travelers alike.

- 74” x 46"
My wife had raved about some of her favorite sarongs/pareos for years but I never really understood why. She had been looking for high quality sarongs for a while but was having a hard time finding something that she really loved like her old ones. When we visited Hawaii we came across the Tag Aloha brand and she got extremely excited. Again, I wasn’t fully getting it but she convinced me to get at least one for myself. I can honestly say I have barely taken the thing off since. Tag Aloha makes very high quality stuff, the patterns are incredible and the versatility and comfort blew me away. It’s cool in the sun and warm in the cold. It’s useful as a lashing, a blanket, a pillow, a hoodie, a sheet, and so much more. We have some cheap Amazon ones that I never touch, but these new sarongs we got from Tag Aloha are on a different level. I’m extremely satisfied, and would highly recommend.
Purchased 13 different Pareos and 3 bucket hats... can't wait to see new collaborations!!!
