‘Ulu was one of the canoe plants carried across the Pacific by Polynesian voyagers, a gift that fed Hawai‘i for centuries. This print was drawn from the beloved ‘ulu trees growing in our own backyard in Kailua, their distinctive leaves trailing over a pattern inspired by the fruit’s pebbled skin. Homegrown, in every sense.
