Soft, weighted to drape perfectly with just the right amount of sheer, and in the ideal dimensions. My favorite element is the impact of gold against black. I love that the design is of kalo leaves - so important in Hawai`ian and the broader Polynesian culture.
Even the lovely and careful packaging hinted at how truly nice my new kalo pareo would be. (In fact so nice, that I kept the tissue to protect my pareo when it is in my dresser drawer.)
