A pareo, also called a sarong, carries a rich Polynesian heritage and is known for its versatility, easily transitioning from casual beachwear as a bikini cover-up to effortless styling for an evening out. Our pareos, made from luxuriously soft and breathable fabric, dry quickly and drape in a way that flatters every body, making them an essential piece for locals and visitors.
Engaging in the cherished tradition of making lei gives me a profound sense of connection and serenity. It truly is a labor of love, weaving together nature's beauty and my passion.
I especially love stringing crown flowers (pua kalaunu). There are always butterflies and honey bees dancing around when you go out to gather crown flowers, and that magical pop when picking a bud never gets old for me! It’s just another reason this unique flower is one of my favorites. Knowing that pua kalaunu also held a cherished spot in Queen Lili'uokalani's heart adds an extra layer of meaning and significance.
